The new Hattrick login procedure requires OAuth authorization.

Why does HC ask for my real Hattrick password? What about the security code for CHPP programs?

CHPP 2.0 use OAuth, and security code will disappear after some time. When HC ask for your real password, in fact you are in an inside web navigator where HC shows an Hattrick web page. After introduce your password in the web page, HC will get the verifier and obtain an OAuth access key that will be stored to allow future connections always required for you. In any case HC stores or sees your Hattrick password at all.
